This tapestry measures 35" x 56", 120 wefts per inch, 12 warps per inch, 6 colors, woven by Master Weaver Julia Jumbo.

Julia Jumbo was considered the best living Navajo weaver after Daisy Taugelchee passed. Arizona Highways, July 1974 on Navajo weaving says "The area (Toadlena/Two Grey Hills) is especially noted for the number of superior weavers, with Julia Jumbo currently setting the pace."

This is one of the highest weft counts Julia achieved and the colors are particularly luscious. The simple, elongated single diamond with the bare minimum of other embellishments reveals her artistic confidence. She said what she had to say and no more.
