This Navajo weaving measures 33" x 45", handspun yarn, all colors are hand-dyed, dark blue is indigo, excellent condition, c. 1890, artist unknown.
This blanket has the design of a Serape and the dimensions of a child's blanket. The simple designs are classic Navajo. The advantage of the transitional pieces, 1880-1900, is having the Classic designs with a softer price.
