This Zia Olla is 10" x 12", c. 1920's, very good condition.
This Zia olla is an excellent example of Zia figural pottery. The avian figure most closely resembles a chicken though they are frequently thought to be parrots.
There are 4 panels. Two are figural and 2 are abstract. Rainbow bands seperate the panels. The back side of the jar fired differently than the front of it. The price represents this variation.
