Sage Brush Hill Woman

Sage Brush Hill Woman

Sage Brush Hill Woman walked to Bosque Redondo, gave birth to Mrs. Policeboy and walked back. Mrs. Policeboy was the leader of the Bear Clan weavers. She and Blind Man's Wife probably influenced more Toadlena/Two Grey Hills weavers than any others. Much more could be said about these two weavers but Mark Winter does it better than I and it would stil unstate the historic significance of the weavers and their work.

This piece appears on p. 316 of The Master Weavers, upper left.
