Hopi figural bowl, c. 1920's, 3" x 10", excellent condition, artist unknown.
This Hopi bowl features the Polik Mana or "Butterfly Mother" katsina. My tendency is to acquire Nampeyo Hopi pottery. However this piece is so well I could not pass it up. If it were a Nampeyo it would cost triple the price. Thus it is a wonderful piece and greatly more accessible.
