This piece is 32" x 54", c. 1940's, excellent condition.
The weaver had a good time making this rug. She displays the tools of her trade: weaving combs and battens in pairs. The square heads indicate female figures, typical of Navajo sandpaintings. Basically, it is a fun piece of Navajo, folk art.
