This figural rug is 34" x 57", c. 1930's, excellent condition.
Is it a saddle blanket? Is it a rug? Could be either. It is the right size for a double, Sunday saddle blanket and would display proudly on either side or a horse. The border is typical of saddle blankets as is he mid-band of decorated X's. I'm talking myself into believing it is a saddle blanket. Regardless, it is an enjoyable figural Navajo weaving displaying "aboriginal elegance."
