Teec Nos Pos c. 1920's, 65" x 40", Excellent condition
This is a beautiful example of the artistry that came from the Teec Nos Pos region in first quarter of the 20th century. The border is typical of Teec Nos Pos in the 1920's but the center of the rug is more like a Red Mesa at the same time. Red Mesa is 12 miles up the road from Teec and there was a strong influence from one region to the other.
