This is a Chinle Navajo rug. The dimensions are
42" x 65, very good condition. Weaver Unknown.
Chinle rugs are fairly rare. Their fidelity to the garment designs is admirable. Being from the 1930's this should be one of the pieces from the "Chinle Revival" spearheaded by Mary Cabot Wheelwright. She founded the renowned Wheelwright Museum of the American Indian.
